Ismailia Youth Centre to Be Named After Olympic Medalist Sarah Samir
Samir recently won a silver medal in weightlifting at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports has announced that Egyptian Olympic medalist, Sarah Samir, will be honoured by having Ismailia’s Hawainah Youth Centre - where Samir herself, a native of Ismailia, frequently worked out - named after her.
Samir recently won the silver medal in weightlifting at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, after having previously won a bronze medal at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics.
