New Charter Flights Between Cairo & Matrouh Take Off

New low-cost charter flights between Cairo and Matrouh are now operating weekly on Sundays and Thursdays until the end of September 2023.

The Ministry of Civil Aviation partnered with the General Authority for Tourism Promotion to launch these new flights, just in time for the New Alamein Festival, a summer-long series of concerts and sporting events that has been lighting up the North Coast. The festival has seen the likes of Nancy Ajram and Omar Khairat grace the New Alamein City stage, with upcoming performances by Mohamed ‘El King’ Mounir, Hamid el Shari, Elissa and more scheduled throughout August.

Flights will be operated by the Ministry of Civil Aviation’s affiliate company, Air Cairo.
