Port Said is Set to Build a New Mega Mall
The project is hoped to usher in a new wave of employment opportunities for the city’s residents.
The beginning of what will be a new entertainment, retail, and logistics centre - otherwise known as a brand spanking new mall - has just been confirmed in the coastal city of Port Said by the Egyptian Cabinet’s official Facebook page. Ministers of Housing, Youth and Sport, and the governor of Port Said were all present at Port Said to lay down the foundation stone of the new mega project.
The new mall will include four cinemas, retail stores, restaurants, an amusement park, a two kilometre cargo tunnel, a mosque and four administrative towers. These new buildings will be joined by a multi-storey garage with a capacity of 1,450 vehicles. This will be the first entertainment and retail complex of this size in the city, and is hoped to usher in a new wave of employment opportunities for the city’s residents.
