Royal Decree Issued to Grant Saudi Citizenship to Specialised Talents

A royal decree has been issued dictating that Saudi citizenship may be issued to a select group of individuals with exceptional talent or unique expertise in religious, medical, scientific, cultural, athletic and technological fields.

The decree will contribute to the development of various sectors in the Kingdom, as well as to the realisation of Vision 2030. The Kingdom has an established interest in attracting distinguished talents who can contribute to efforts to develop the Saudi economy.

A similar royal decree was issued in 2021 to grant citizenship to another group of talented experts in various fields.
