Sound and Light Show Free For Disabled Community, the Elderly and War Veterans
Students can also receive a 50% discount!
The Egyptian Sound and Light Show Company has announced its decision to issue free passes for its shows to all members of the disabled community, as well as free passes to senior citizens and war veterans for their Arabic-language shows. This is part of their initiative to support the disabled and elderly communities, and focus on their inclusion within society. This pass is valid for the shows in all of their locations, including the Giza Pyramids, the Karnak Temple, Philae, Abu Simbel Temple and Edfu.
In addition, the Sound and Light Show Company will also grant Egyptian students, from school to university level, discounts up to 50% for the Arabic shows. School teachers can also enjoy this benefit.
According to a statement by Mohamed Abdel Aziz, the president of the Sound and Light Company, this initiative permits members of the disabled community, senior citizens and war veterans a free pass to use whenever they please, as opposed to the previous terms which entailed that they were limited free access according to specific days or events.
The company will also be providing wheelchairs free-of-charge to audience members who need them to enable them to move around freely during the shows.
