The Fashion Studio is Back
With every new Egyptian generation, there's a whole slew of style savvy young'uns looking to break into the fashion industry and the Fashion Studio is back for a winter semester, helping them do just that with professional courses.
It seems that, for as long as we can remember, every Egyptian girl has wanted to be in the fashion industry and thankfully, for the last year or so, The Fashion Studio has been engraining a certain philosophy into the minds of the fashion conscious, or at least the potentially fashion conscious, about what the industry is all about. After a short hiatus, they are back with more passion than ever to change the way this country relates to style.
The two courses they’re providing this winter season are Fashion Styling & Art Direction and Fashion Illustration & Design Techniques, available to take as intensive weekend courses or shorter lessons during weekdays, and are available for people with any level of experience. Entering the course means a priceless education from tutors who have amassed a huge amount of experience from styling the likes of Beyonce to residencies at Burberry, as well as a whole host of work for international brands and publications.
The courses are tailored to syllabi similar to those at top international fashion schools and will aid students in building a professional portfolio required to get into these institutions, as well as find employment in the industry.
Courses, which take place at Amuse's second floor studio, begin on the 20th of January and the cost of the short courses (8 classes) is 2,500 LE whilst the cost for the intensive course (16 classes) is 4,500 LE. The intensive courses are also certified.
