This Luxury Train Will Take You From Cairo to Alexandria in Two Hours

The Ministry of Transport has announced that Talgo’s luxury trains have begun operating on a third line this weekend, carrying passengers between Cairo and Alexandria in just two hours.

Talgo’s first line started operating in December 2022, taking travellers between Cairo and Alexandria, while the second line became available in January 2023, operating between Cairo and Luxor.

A fourth line to Upper Egypt will soon launch after a trial period.
