Misr El Kheir to Train 10,000 Egyptians Annually in Textiles Industry

Misr El Kheir Foundation has signed a new cooperation with the Ready-Made Garments and Textiles Chamber to take on at least 10,000 Egyptians to train and employ annually in the 5,000 free zone factories located in the Delta and Upper Egypt area, in accordance with the new minimum wage.

The initiative aims to support three different objectives. The first is to encourage training and entrepreneurship empowerment, in order to qualify young people to set up and manage their own businesses. The second goal is to build a strategic partnership to support internal and external economic, industrial and commercial development between national companies and institutions and to develop locally-made products. Finally, the projects hope to popularize the concept of a green economy and recycling, as well as to enhance the social responsibility of large businesses and institutions.
