Citadel Music Festival to Hold a Whopping 42 Concerts in 15 Days This August

This August 18th, the 28th edition of the Citadel Music Festival kicks-off what is shaping up to be a busy 15 days of music, with a line-up of the Middle East's most popular acts set to perform across a whopping 41 concerts.
The elaborate event, which is organised by the Cairo Opera House, will see the likes of everyone from Hisham Kharma and Massar Egbari, to Ghalia Benali and Dina El-Wedidi, to Omar Khairat and even Mohamed Addaweya, take to the stage. Artists representing diverse music scenes and genres from across Asia and Africa are also set to make special appearances. Folkloric bands from Algeria, China, Venezuela, India, and, of course, Egypt, are gearing up to give this edition a truly authentic feel.
