Dokki Book Fair to be Held in July with Massive Selection of 100,000 Books

Bookworms and avid readers, rejoice! The ninth edition of the Dokki Book Fair is set to take place between the July 4th and 8th, with a reported 100,000 books set to go on sale at Ebda’a Villa at 28 Gaber Ibn Haian Street.

Running each day between 10AM to 10PM, the free-to-attend event will offer a variety of new and used books covering all genres, with the latter being offered at discounted prices - who doesn’t love some page-turners at a reduced price?

Beyond that intangible satisfaction of reading endless blurbs, flicking through pages and taking in that book smell, the fair is set to also host several cultural sub-events and book singing parties, which organiser, Al Microphone, is holding in cooperation with 35 Egyptian and international publishing houses. The fair will have designated sections, including Arabic books, English books, children’s books and games, used books and cultural magazines, free books, Arabic calligraphy and handicrafts.
