A jewellery collection that once belonged to Hind Rostom, famed for her depiction of some of the most gorgeous women in Egyptian cinema, will be placed for auction through Sotheby's on November 10th.
You can now get your hands on Golden Age actress Hind Rostom’s personal jewellery collection at Sotheby’s Magnificent Jewels and Noble Jewels auction - that is, if you can beat out everyone in Geneva on November 10th. The Egyptian silver screen star was known for her depiction of beautiful, seductive women in films such as ‘Bab al-Hadid’, ‘Serah feh el Nil’ and ‘al-Gabban we al-Hob’, as well as her taste in exquisite jewellery, adorning herself in the finest diamonds and rubies.
Sotheby’s, one of the largest brokers of fine and decorative art, jewellery, and collectibles in the world, will host eight lots of the actress’ precious jewellery. This fine assortment will include a diamond and emerald bracelet, a pair of diamond cluster ear clips designed by David Webb, a diamond necklace, and more of her signature pieces with permission from her family.
Before heading to the Geneva auction, the jewellery will be showcased at the Sotheby’s gallery in the DIFC, Dubai’s Financial Hub.
