Steve Double's Iconic Portraits at The Tap

Hiding amongst the millions of people residing in Cairo is none other than world famous photographer Steve Double. Over a 30 year career, Steve Double has managed to capture original photos of the biggest names in music, and will for their first time ever be exhibiting his extensive archive of photos giving Egyptians the chance to purchase rare prints of their favourite artists.

What do Nirvana, Daft Punk, MIA, Eminem, Metallica, U2, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers have in common? They’ve all been brilliantly captured through Steve Double’s lens. Starting from April 2nd and running throughout the month of April, Steve Double’s works will be exhibited at everyone’s favourite Maadi pub, the Tap.

Having travelled the globe to capture the biggest names in the entertainment industry, the exhibit entitled “Here We Are Now!” is set to showcase over 35 of Double's most iconic photos. Prints will be made available to Egyptians starting from 1900LE, with 10% of all sales going to The Maadi Orphanage.

Always looking to keep things hip and fresh, The Tap is the perfect location for the exhibit, as they continue to become known as a musical hub for the best emerging acts. With Steve Double’s photography on display, The Tap just got that much cooler, as Steve Double is the real deal.
