The trailer for Peter Mimi's long-awaited dramatic thriller, 'El Haram El Rabe3', is finally out and we're incredibly enticed.
Medical doctor-turned-film director Peter Mimi’s newest project, El Haram El Rabe3 (Arabic for The Fourth Pyramid), which he wrote and directed, has just been wrapped up and is now in its post-production phase. It seems Mimi made a conscious decision to cast fresh-faced (and sizzling hot) young actors such as Ahmad Hatem, Tara Emad, Merihan Hussein, and Moustafa Abu Sereea, to play the lead roles with a little help from well-versed actors Reeham Abdul Ghafour, Muhammad Soleiman, and Mohsen Mansour, and film veterans Ahmad Halawa, Bayoumy Fouad, Mahmoud El Gendy, and Yussif Shaaban.
Mimi had worked on numerous short movies before his big screen directorial debut, which came in the form of the 2012 action thriller Sabouba, followed by Saeed Claquette. His latest creation, El Haram El Rabe3, is expected to be a big hit due to its unfamiliar subject matter.
The picture saw production companies Maqam, Fourteen, and Exception join forces, and is expected to be released on January 27th, according to El Dostour newspaper. The dramatic thriller follows the story of a young engineering student who can read minds and hacks banking institutions. Very enticing stuff – excited?
