9 Killed in Public Tranportation Bus Crash, Driver Charged with Manslaughter
The prosecutor's office has taken a driver into custody after initial investigation results have indicated that he was driving the wrong way.

A traffic accident in Nasr City has left nine dead and seven injured on Friday, after a public transportation bus and a microbus collided, reports Youm7. The injured – two of whom are in critical condition - have been transferred to the Medical Insurance Hospital in Nasr City, according to Ahram Online.
According to MENA news agency, security forces have taken the public bus driver into custody following the deadly accident.
The authorities have extended the bus driver’s detention to 15 days on charges of manslaughter, after initial investigation results have indicated that he had caused the accident. According to the conductor, the driver was travelling the wrong way (in the opposite direction of traffic of the road).
The prosecutor's office also said the driver would be undergoing a drug test to determine the level of his sobriety at the time of the accident.
