Oman-Based IO Kitchens Secures $2.8 Million in Seed Round
IO Kitchens leverages advanced data analytics and AI to craft food offerings that align with consumer preferences.
Oman-based cloud kitchen startup IO Kitchens has raised $2.8 million in a seed funding round led by the Tanmia Small-Cap Fund, with support from family offices and regional investors.
Cloud kitchens, also known as ghost kitchens, are commercial facilities designed exclusively for food delivery, meeting the rising demand for convenient, high-quality options. IO Kitchens leverages advanced data analytics and AI to craft food offerings that align with consumer preferences.
“We are thrilled to close our first investment in the Tanmia Small-Cap Fund and support IO Kitchens’ ambitious vision,” Mr. Khalid Al Balushi, CEO of Tanmia, tells StartupScene. “Their innovative approach to the cloud kitchen model is set to significantly impact the food delivery sector, not only in Oman but across the region. We believe IO Kitchens is on the verge of transforming how food is delivered and enjoyed.”
The new funding will enable IO Kitchens to expand its operations across Oman, increase kitchen capacities and invest in tech-based experiences, catering to the growing demand for diverse, high-quality food options.
