5,000 Telecom Towers to Be Built Across Egypt

5,000 communication towers will be installed across Egypt over the next three years, at a cost of USD 318 million. The Ministry of Communication will help implement these new towers alongside IHS Towers, an international telecommunication infrastructure provider that operates in Africa, Latin America and the Middle East.

After Egypt's telecommunication sector saw a substantive 16% growth in 2021, it now contributes 5% to the nation's GDP.
