Ain Al-Saira Lake is Getting a Glow-Up

Located in South Cairo, the Ain Al-Saira Lake is currently in the middle of a massive renovation project across all 63 acres of the area. The project will help clean up the sulfuric water lake, the surrounding gardens, and the implementation of park services of every kind from basic utilities (including sewage, irrigation and water purification plant) to cafes.

The lake was originally formed in 1923 when an earthquake struck the area, exposing the subterranean spring hidden in the city.
