Blurrfest Shebang to Hit Sahl Hasheesh Beach

The Blurr crew have a massive new festival up their sleeves, set to revolutionise partying in Egypt, and we've got the inside scoop...

Staff Writer

The Blurr crew, aka the boys behind some of the most magnetic parties during Sahel this year, aren’t quite done with you yet. If you were as impressed as we were by the massive musical bookings and the organisational skills that manifested into some of the best times we’ve had this summer, then get ready for another one that’s bigger and better than anything else that’s happened all year. And lest we not forget this is also the same crew who has brought over all the spectacular antics of ElRow - thrice.

This time around, the Blurr boys Abou Samra and Coco Mokhtar, have another trick up their sleeve, and it’s a damn good one at that. ”With more than 12 international artists plus local artists, the event will be happening over two days and it will be the biggest line up for one event in the region," Mokhtar tells us, "This party is different because it's a festival not a party and the amount of artists and headliners are bigger than anything Egypt or the region has seen in the recent years.”

The event is now all very hush hush and despite the line up not being revealed yet there’s already interest from many people not just in Egypt but across the Middle East and even Europe who have contacted Blurr asking for package deals. It's about to seriously raise the partying bar.

The event will take place September 24-25 in Sahl Hasheesh, and we'll be revealing the line-up soon so stay tuned for more info...
