Tragic news has emerged about two children who found a bomb in a dumpster, disguised as football, which exploded in their Manshiyet Nasser apartment, killing one child and leaving the other severely injured.
A tragedy struck an apartment in Cairo’s Manshiyet Nasser when a bomb disguised as a football killed one child, leaving another seriously injured.
According to Egypt’s Interior Ministry, the improvised explosive device was hidden within a football that was discovered by two children in a dumpster. Upon their discovery, the two children brought the football home, where it detonated killing a six-year-old and while wounding the hand of the other child.
An investigation has been launched, but as it stands, no suspects have been taken into custody.
