Eid Al-Fitr to Begin on March 31st in Egypt

Eid Al-Fitr in Egypt has been officially set for Monday, March 31st, 2025, after the Egyptian Dar al-Iftaa confirmed that the crescent moon of Shawwal was not sighted on Saturday evening. As a result, Ramadan has been completed in full, lasting 30 days.

The Egyptian Cabinet's earlier announcement of a four-day paid holiday for public and private sector employees will now be observed from March 31st to April 2nd, 2025.
