EGP 36.4 Million Invested to Renovate Omar Effendi Branch in Nasr City

The Ministry of Public Business Sector has inaugurated the first phase of renovations for the Omar Effendi branch in Nasr City. The ministry is looking to bring back the once-famous supermarket chain through a significant glow-up, starting with the ground floor, the basement, the landscape and the facade - a process which took six months and cost EGP 36.4 million.
The second phase is scheduled for completion during the 2022/2023 fiscal year, and will see a total replacement and upgrade of the central air conditioning system, the electrical panels, the decorations and the lighting of the remaining three floors, in addition to new security cameras and fire alarm systems.
