EU Set To Waive Entry Visas For Saudi Citizens
Saudi citizens will be able to travel to Europe multiple times over a five-year period with a single visa.

The European Union is progressing toward granting Saudi citizens visa-free access to the Schengen Area, as confirmed by Christophe Farnaud, the EU Ambassador to Saudi Arabia. While a definitive timeline has not been established, discussions are ongoing to facilitate this exemption.
Currently, Saudi nationals benefit from facilitated visa procedures, including the availability of five-year multiple-entry Schengen visas introduced in April 2024. These measures have already strengthened people-to-people ties and encouraged exchanges between the EU and Saudi Arabia.
The move toward visa exemption aligns with the EU's broader strategy to deepen relations with GCC countries. During a summit in Brussels, EU and GCC leaders reaffirmed their commitment to working together on practical steps toward a mutually beneficial visa-free travel arrangement.
