Egypt's Mid-Year School Break Extended by One Week
Due to Coronavirus concerns, the mid-year school break - originally running from January 16th to February 20th - will now last until February 27th.

The Supreme Committee of Coronavirus Management has agreed to an extension of the mid-year school vacation by an extra week, in order to lessen the impact of the Coronavirus. The Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Higher Education will soon announce the details of how these exams should be postponed, as well as how and when schools can resume the second semester. The mid-year vacation - which originally ran from January 16th to February 20th - will now last until February 27th.
