Forbes Releases Their Absolute Favourite Places to Stay in Cairo

2020 is shaping up to be Egypt’s best year for tourism yet. From CNN to BBC, all the major news agencies have identified Egypt as one of the best destinations to travel to in 2020. The latest publication to gush over Egypt is none other than Forbes. On Monday, they released a list of places to stay in Cairo that they highly recommend for any visitor.

Topping their list of places to stay in Cairo is the Marriott Hotel and Casino on Gezira Island. This hotel was originally a historic palace built by Khedive Ismail to serve guests during the Suez Canal inaugural celebrations. The Marriott took over the property in the 1970s, turning it into a luxurious five-star experience unlike any other. Also making Forbes's list are hotels like the gorgeous Four Seasons Cairo at Nile Plaza, the Fairmont Nile City, Osiris Hotel Kempinski Nile Hotel and the Sofitel Cairo El Gezirah.
