Lucid Motors Gives Royal Commission of AlUla 30 Electric Vehicles
The deal with Lucid Motors forms part of a broader agreement with the Kingdom to enhance low-impact transport.
The first shipment of 30 electric vehicles from Lucid Motors has been delivered to AlUla, as part of an agreement between Lucid Motors and the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU). The agreement hopes to make AlUla an environmentally-friendly space by reducing carbon emissions in the historically-rich oasis.
The deal between the RCU and Lucid Motors forms part of an even larger agreement between the Kingdom’s government and Lucid Motors to provide green transport options, in line with Vision 2030’s goals to reduce Saudi Arabia’s carbon footprint. To this end, the Kingdom has already introduced electric shuttles as well as a low-impact tram service to link AlUla with other parts of the Kingdom.
