MIP Partners Up With UNGCNE & D Carbon to 'Build for Better Lives'
The partners will unite and guide the actions of stakeholders to ensure the well-being of people and the planet.
As part of their continued commitment to sustainability and green urban design, Misr Italia Properties (MIP) has announced its partnership with the United Nations Global Compact Network Egypt (UNGCNE) and D Carbon to form an inclusive coalition to 'Build for Better Lives'. Under this initiative, the involved parties will unite, coordinate and guide the actions of all stakeholders across the built environment value chain to ensure the well-being of people and the planet through the construction and real-estate sector in Egypt.
'Build for Better Lives' will help raise awareness of the importance and advantages of sustainable urban design on the national and international scale, as well as from a business perspective in terms of costs and risks of inaction. The coalition will also identify the main barriers of proposed solutions, showcase and advocate success stories and international benchmarks, and build even more partnerships to exchange experiences amongst members of the initiative.
With this announcement, MIP - alongside a group of other dedicated real estate and construction companies - are sending a message of commitment towards ethical and responsible business practices.
The formal signing of this partnership will be preceded with a panel discussion organised by UNGCNE and D Carbon to discuss the initiative, and allow the founding partners to share their thoughts and aspirations for this forward-thinking coalition.
