Ministry of Education to Provide COVID-19 Vaccine to Every Teacher

In cooperation with the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education is aiming to supply every teacher and school administrator in Egypt with the COVID-19 vaccine before the beginning of the next educational year.

The Ministries are currently rolling out the vaccine for teachers and administrators who oversee high school exams and technical diplomas.

Earlier this year, UNESCO urged all countries around the world to give priority to teachers in national vaccine rollout plans, in order to guarantee that schools can remain open and that education can continue safely.
