New Hotline & WhatsApp Numbers to Report Sexual Harassment on the Cairo Metro

We shared some news that the Egypt National Railways has launched several ways through which people can report sexual harassment on their trains, which included a hotline at 15047. Recently, another announcement was made to help further the fight against sexual harassment on public transportation, with the Egyptian Company for Metro Management and Operation's release of a hotline and two WhatsApp numbers.

You will be able to call the new hotline (16048) 24/7 to report sexual harassment on the metro. The hotline also accepts general complaints about passengers’ experience. If you prefer to submit your complaints via WhatsApp, you will be able to do so though +2 010 2177 8887 or +2 012 21111 6048.
