New Perfume on the Market in Egypt Allegedly Causes Death within 3 Days
A perfume called 'Relax' might relax you a little too much as Egypt’s Ministry of Supply warns that it could kill consumers within three days. Campaigns are currently underway to seize the product.
There’s a new women's fragrance on the market and it is allegedly lethal. The perfume, Relax, might relax you a little too much as Egypt’s Ministry of Supply warns that it could kill consumers within three days, Al Arabiya reports.
The ministry has issued a bulletin to all provincial authorities, urging them to seize the product and send samples for testing. The memo also directs provincial authorities to warn their constituents against the potentially fatal substance.
The reason as to why the use of said perfume could lead to a swift death and its source remain unclear, but a source within the government speculates that it may have been imported into the country. The source also confirmed that the country’s health authorities are testing samples of all imported perfumes and comparing it to Relax.
In response to the authorities’ warnings, campaigns targeting “gift, perfume, and accessory shops, and pharmacies,” as per Al Arabiya, are currently underway to seize the killer perfume.
