Olympic Medalist Giana Farouk Launches Karate Academy for Children
In collaboration with Alamallreyada Kids Sports Academy, Farouk launched ‘Giana Karate Academy’ to impart her martial prowess to the next generation.
Olympic medalist and world karate champion Giana Farouk is about to become a sensei with the launch of ‘Giana Karate Academy’. In collaboration with Alamallreyada Kids Sports Academy, Farouk will be imparting her years of experience for children aged four and above, offering classes in Almaza on Saturdays, and in Nasr City on Sundays.
Farouk is a two-time gold medalist at the World Karate Championships and has won gold medals at the Mediterranean Games, the African Games and the Islamic Solidarity Games. Farouk recently earned a bronze medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics in the women's kumite karate-61 kg division, winning three of her Pool A fights and qualifying for the semi-finals.
