Sandstorm, Heatwave and Ramadan Don't Mix
This Saturday will see a 10 degree rise in temperature and a sandstorm in Cairo.
Remember the freak sandstorm in February? How about that crazy heatwave in May? Well, the two combine again this weekend, but this time in the scorching sun of June, much to the dismay of the dry mouths and hungry bellies this Ramadan.
Al Ahram reported that this sandstorm and heatwave are supposed to hit Egypt on Saturday, according to a Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) spokesman.
This andstorm is likely to block your vision on highways, and it will be accompanied by a 10-12 degree Celsius rise in temperature (more like 38 degrees) for 24 hours. Our advice? Stay indoors.
