The Grand Egyptian Museum Will Hold Its First Public Concert

The Grand Egyptian Museum will host its first public concert featuring renowned Egyptian maestro and composer, Nader Abbassi, and acclaimed Egyptian soprano Fatma Said on January 20th. The concert will champion the Grand Egyptian Museum’s vision of hosting Egyptian culture throughout the ages, including its ever-growing agglomeration of contemporary arts.

Fatma Said has taken her operatic performances across Europe, having recently performed in Naples and Hamburg. She will soon return to Cairo as the first singer to perform at the Grand Egyptian Museum. Naser Abbassi meanwhile is a prolific composer, who most famously wowed the world by leading the orchestra at the Pharaohs’ Golden Parade in April 2021.
