Tourists Can Now Rent Solar Powered Cars at Nabq Nature Reserve

South Sinai’s Nabq Nature Reserve - an underrated destination for camping, diving and bird watching near Sharm El Sheikh - is getting its own batch of solar-powered electric cars.

The solar-powered vehicles will allow tourists to travel around the nature reserve without harming the environment with the kind of exhaust fumes you’d get with their gas-powered counterparts.

The inclusion of these vehicles is part of a larger plan to transform the resort town of Sharm El Sheikh into a totally green destination, especially during the lead-up to the COP27 United Nations Climate Change Conference taking place there later this November.
