UK Supermarket Has Special Ramadan Offer for Bacon Pringles

UK supermarket chain Tesco has had to apologise after promoting a special offer on Pringles for Ramadan...Smokey Bacon Pringles to be precise. If this isn’t the definition of irony then we don’t know what is as it is common knowledge that Muslims don’t eat pork. Obviously there is no meat in the chips but this being a Ramadan promotion of all things should have never even been a thing.

Tesco released a statement of the matter saying:  “We are proud to offer a wide range of meals and products to meet the needs of our customers during Ramadan. We recognise these Pringles weren’t in the most suitable place and our store colleagues have now moved them.”
