Dubai Police Will Soon Patrol on Flying Motorbikes

Dubai police officers have officially begun training on the S3 2019 Hoverbike, according to CNN.

Dubai police and Hoversurf – manufacturer of the flying motorbike – signed a deal in 2017, enabling the Dubai police to acquire a batch of S3 2019 Hoverbikes, making it as Dubai's first electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) vehicles to be put in use.

General director of Dubai Police's artificial intelligence department, Khalid Nasser Alrazooqi, reportedly said that he'd like to see hoverbikes in full action by 2020.

An Aerospace magazine shunned the S3 2019 model for being 'limited' if required for serious police action, due to its max speed at 60mph, battery life of 2.5 hours, and a flight time of only 10 to 25 minutes.
