A cargo ship leaving from Safaga Port tilted and sunk into the Red Sea, sending SOS signals to the naval base for help.
A cargo ship sunk today in the Red Sea after departing from Safaga Port. The passengers of the ship were all saved and no one was injured, MENA news agency reported.
Most of the trucks on the ship named “Taba” were parked on one side, which led the ship to tilt and sink into the Red Sea. SOS signals were sent by the sinking ship to the naval base, and everyone was saved by the dispatched rescue ships.
