New York Buses Run 'Muslims Kill Jews' Ads
A US judge has ruled in favour of an anti-Muslim oganisation and their right to run their controversial campaign on NYC buses.

US Federal Judge John Koeltl has ruled that the New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) are to display on their buses a series of ads dubbed, “Killing Jews”. The pro-Israeli ads call on the US to “stop funding Muslim countries” accusing Islam of encouraging anti-Semitism by quoting various extremist groups such as one song by Hamas: “Killing Jews is worship that draws us close to Allah.” Most of the ads are accompanied by threatening looking individuals carrying weapons.
The ads, funded by The American Freedom Defense, an anti-Muslim initiative run by controversial blogger and activist Pamela Geller, have already run on public transportation in Chicago and San Francisco.
Judge Koeltl has dismissed MTA security concerns who had refused to run the ads stating, “It strains credulity to believe that New Yorkers would be incited to violence by ads that did not incite residents of Chicago and San Francisco.” The MTA were not pleased however with MTA spokesman Adam Lisberg calling the ruling disappointing and adding that the MTA will be reviewing their options.
