Alexandria's Biggest Marathon Sets Off on October 21st
The marathon is partnering with the Charity Hospital for Children with Cancer in Alexandria, so you can job for a good cause!
After a lengthy pause, the biggest official race in Alexandria is back on October 21st. Designed to fit all runners, the Alexandria Marathon has a number of specialised races including the 42-km full marathon, 21-km half marathon, 10km, 5km, 2km family run, 1km kids’ race and a pararace for those with disabilities. Hosted at the beautiful Four Seasons beach, the race takes runners on a breathtakingly (not that you’d have any breath in you anyway) scenic route, where runners can recharge both physically and emotionally.
The event is focused on empowering the community, challenging all types of runners, from beginners to professionals, to the race of their choosing. The marathon also helps in supporting children with cancer, as it is partnering with the Charity Hospital for Children with Cancer in Alexandria.
Registration is now open for the event at alexandriamarathon.com/.
