National Council for Women Launches Campaign for Healthy Food Choices

The National Council for Women has just launched a new campaign, ‘The Right Equation’, to raise awareness of the dangers of hydrogenated oils in food such as heart disease, and to educate women on healthier food choices for themselves as well as their families. 

Taking place for the second year in a row, the three-day initiative will run from Sunday, March 27th to Tuesday, March 29th, and will take place in Alexandria, Ismailia, Qalyubia, Dakahlia, Minya, Assiut, Gharbia, Beheira, Cairo, Giza, and Sohag.

22 nutrition experts will lead the initiative and train the council to transfer the knowledge across 229 villages in 47 different centres.
