Ramadan Kheima Guide 2019

From bustling Iftar buffets, to contemporary spins on traditional Ramadan kheimas, there’s certainly no shortage of things happening across Cairo this Ramadan. While it’s tempting to do your Iftar-gorging at home, catch a couple of this year’s mosalsalat in your food-induced coma and call it a night, there’s too much to see, hear, do, eat and drink. Ladies and gentlemen, this is your ultimate guide to all Kheimas in Cairo this Ramadan.

KHEIMAS

RAMAROOF BY MO4NETWORK & ADHD // Unicorn Garden

MO4 Network will be celebrating Ramadan in collaboration with ADHD to bring you Ramaroof: a unique Ramadan Kheima concept comprising a series of different events at the Unicorn Garden, overlooking Downtown Cairo. Think a casual, laidback atmosphere with comfy beanbags, poufs and floor cushions to make you feel right at home.

Food and beverage will be of a traditional, street-style nature and will include traditional foul carts, konafa, 7ommos el sham and, essentially all the sohour deliacies you can think of.

RamaRoof Themes:

RamaLaugh - Thursdays

The stand-up comedy night will debut on RamaRoof's opening night and take place throughout the month, inviting some of Egypt's top comedian to the stage.

RamaJam - Fridays
RamaJam is a series of gigs presented by our sister site, SceneNoise, where Sohour will be served with side of live musical jams performed by some of Cairo’s most popular musicians and bands.

RamaChill - Saturdays

Though we get shorter work days, Ramadan is still exhausting what with keeping up with all the 3ezomas office iftars, which is why Saturdays are reserved to chill Ramadan nights with music, drinks (virgin, of course), and bites, where one can unwind and loosen up for yet another week of buffet-devouring.

The opening of RamaRoof will be by an invite-only event, and then all following nights we will be open for reservations through RamaRoof’s social media pages.
