Which Passports Are the Strongest and Where Does Egypt Rank?

Ok so we all have a passport, at least we hope you do, and that little booklet defines what country you are from and which ones you have visited. This being common knowledge, some passports are stronger than others based on how many countries you can travel to without having to get a visa prior to arrival.

A website called http://www.passportindex.org/ has released a colour-categorised list of which countries have the strongest passports and how many countries people with those passports can travel to without having to go through the never ending visa acquiring process until they arrive.

The top 10 countries have been listed and are as follows:

1. UK, U.S.A.

2. South Korea, Germany, France

3. Sweden, Italy

4. Denmark, Singapore, Finland, Japan, Luxembourg, Netherlands

5. Switzerland

6. Norway, Spain, Ireland, Belgium, Portugal

7. Canada, Greece, Austria, Malaysia

8. New Zealand

9. Czech Republic, Australia, Hungary

10. Poland, Slovakia

With the UK and United States of America ranking as number one, people with those passports have the ability to travel to 147 countries without getting a visa prior to arrival. Well aren’t they just a lucky bunch.

Anyway you’re probably wondering by now what Egypt ranks as far as power and how many countries can be visited without a visa. It ranks as the 64th strongest passport in the world and will allow access to 53 countries without getting a visa prior to arrival. That’s not too bad at all; it could be much worse. South Sudan passport which ranks last at 80th and can only visit 28 countries without prior visas.
