Bosaina to Play Sónar
Taking leaps and bounds with her musical career, Egypt's Bosaina has just been announced as part of the epic line up at this year's edition of Spain's world renowned Sónar festival.

From pop vocalist, to wanton Electro lead singer to fully-fledged sound artist, Bosaina's career trajectory has taken leaps and strides in recent years, first culminating in her becoming the first Egyptian accepted into Red Bull's coveted Music Academy last October in Tokyo, and now being announced as part of the Sónar festival in Barcelona this coming June.
Sónar is one of the world's leading music festivals that takes place across three days annually in the Catalonian city. Founded more than 20 years ago, the massively popular gathering attracts more than 80,000 people with its line up featuring the best of the global up and coming alternative musicians to established names in Electronica and Hip Hop. This year, headlining will be the likes of The Chemical Brothers, Skrillex, A$AP Rocky, Hot Chip, Jamie XX, Evian Christ and Totally Extinct Dinosaurs to name just a few and sat on the impressive list of performers will be Bosaina, championing her textural beats and Egypt's left-field Electronic scene.
