Taking place amidst (or rather, above) the ancient landmarks of Giza, the seventh edition of the Jump Like a Pharaoh skydiving festival kicked off with around 200 professional and amateur skydivers, who flew in from across the globe to participate in the three-day event.
The festival's initial stunt featured 100 skydivers jumping from C-130 aircraft provided by the Egyptian armed forces, before landing at the foot of the Pyramid of Khafre.
Upcoming events will include similar stunts aimed at promoting aerial sports in Egypt, as well as boosting tourism in the country.
