New EGP 2.3 Million PCR Lab Established in Safaga

A new PCR lab has been established in the Red Sea port town of Safaga. The lab cost EGP 2.3 million, and will serve the residents of Safaga as well as travellers flying in at the Marsa Alam airport, who will require Coronavirus testing when they travel. This lab is part of a national plan to upgrade medical facilities throughout otherwise underserved governorates across Egypt.
