A new ride-hailing application has launched in Sharm El Sheikh to transport participants of the COP27 UN Climate Change Conference, and it only uses electric cars!
In line with Sharm El Sheikh’s dramatic transformation into a green city, the COP27 E-Drive application brings 150 electric cars to the resort town with help from General Motors and Al Mansour Group, the official mobility principal partners at COP27.
Recently, Sharm El Sheikh saw the integration of 110 locally-produced electric buses on its roads, along with the installation of 18 electric car charging stations across town.
