Sign Language Guide to Be Distributed Across Egyptian Schools

The Ministry of Education will distribute instructional posters for sign language across all Egyptian public schools. The posters will depict 24 most commonly used words, and will contain a QR code that - when scanned - will display the movement of each sign.

The move is part of the ministry’s ‘Etkalem Ishara’ initiative, which hopes to better integrate people with disabilities into the educational system.
