A video has gone viral on social media depicting a man being arrested by Egyptian authorities at Cairo International Airport. The man was apprehended during a routine security check, during which it was found that he was attempting to smuggle over EGP 1.253 million in undeclared cash out of Egypt and into Kuwait, with the money hidden inside shawarma sandwiches.
Sources from the airport have confirmed that legal measures have been taken against the anonymous traveller.
