First Professional Baseball Stadium in the Region Now Open in Dubai

The Middle East’s first professional baseball stadium has opened its doors in Dubai, marking a major milestone for the sport in the region. Located at The Sevens sports complex on Al Ain Road, the 6,500-seat stadium is the home base for Baseball United, which is hosting a series of tournaments in Dubai this year. The stadium's dimensions mirror those of New York's Yankee Stadium, with outfield fences set at 318 feet to left, 314 feet to right, and 408 feet to center.
Equipped with advanced LED lighting across eight towers, the stadium’s setup enhances visibility and withstands Dubai’s high temperatures. Seating arrangements are modular, allowing the space to adapt to various crowd sizes, while the field itself features a high-tech dual fiber, synthetic turf.
The grand opening coincides with the Arab Classic tournament, which runs from November 7th to November 10th and features teams from eight nations, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and India. Dubai Sports Council, alongside Baseball United, organized the tournament with support from prominent baseball figures, including Mariano Rivera, a five-time World Series champion and Baseball United ambassador.
Following the Arab Classic, Dubai will host the Baseball United Cup in February, featuring MLB stars and regional players, followed by the inaugural Baseball United League season in October 2025.
