His current project at Mar Girgis church is expected to be completed in a few weeks.
Egyptian artist Ayman William is not letting the terror that marked recent Coptic holidays stand in the way of his love for painting murals. He has taking it upon himself to beautify the country’s churches.
The 41-year-old self-taught artist has now been painting church murals for 15 years, which have seen him spread his art not only in Egypt, but also in Kuwait and the United States. William's latest work is a large mural under the dome of Mar Girgis Church in El Zawya El Hamra, a project which has taken him nearly 6 months and is expected to be completed in a few weeks. The work is spectacular to say the least, have a look for yourself.
