The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has reported a slight increase in foreign currency reserves, with an addition of approximately USD 30 million.
As of the end of January, the total reserves of foreign currencies stood at around USD 35.249 billion, compared to USD 35.219 billion in December.
Foreign currency reserves play a crucial role in supporting Egypt's economy, facilitating international trade, and ensuring the availability of sufficient funds for various purposes, including imports and debt repayments.
